WinSCP is a safe and secure file transfer site. WinSCP supports SFTP and SCP protocols, making it an extremely secure FTP client. The security and encryption options that this software provides is completely configurable. The session saving option is an added feature that can ultimately be of great benefit to a wide variety of users. If you would like to save your session configuration, you can simply click on the save button on the login dialog and your session will be saved so that you can pick up where you left off in the near future. This also allows you to make FTP file transfers without having to worry about completing them at a later date.
WinSCP is not the easiest FTP client to use, especially for beginners. This file transfer site includes a lot of advanced features that may overwhelm those who are not used to using a file transfer site. The extra security features can especially make it seem overwhelming if you are not accustomed to using this type of program. WinSCP does offer two modes of graphical user interface so that those who are not familiar with the program can get used to it and the more advanced users can have a more advanced interface to use. Dragging and dropping files, and pasting URLs and shortcuts is supported with Windows.
WinSCP isn't necessarily the FTP client that is easiest to use but it does provide an extremely safe and secure way for you to transfer files. Despite how complex it truly seems, it might actually be one of the most secure FTP clients available.
